This Date sauce (Dates Paste) is a healthy sugar substitute.
Dates are very sweet and also have a caramel taste, they make the  perfect healthier version candy bars, like Twix ,snickers or Mars.

This Date sauce recipe is so quick and easy to make. Just by blending dates and water. If using pitted dates, soak them before and then blend them.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Medjool Dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup water
Method
Add Medjool dates and water to a high speed blender. Blend until very smooth, scraping the sides as needed. Transfer date paste to a jar and store in the fridge for up to a week. Use it in your favorite recipes. II like to add it to my smoothie with banana, cacao and nut butter. Energy balls and protein bars, also with muffins and cakes.
