Healthy Banana Bread(made from 5 ingredients)

Today I want to share my favorite healthy banana bread recipe!
This healthy banana bread is easy to make, and made of 5 ingredients which you probably have them in your pantry already. It's made of oat flour, bananas, eggs, maple syrup or honey, and yes chocolate chips because who doesn't love chocolate chips, if you don't add walnuts or dates .

Healthy Banana Bread(made from 5 ingredients)

The perfect recipe, moist, delicious and filling banana bread.

Servings: 1 loaf (about 10 slices)

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 ripe bananas 
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips or walnuts
  1. Preheat oven to 425 °F. Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. Using a food processor, or coffee grinder, grind 2 cups of rolled oats into oat flour.
  3. In a medium bowl, mash 2 bananas with fork. Then, whisk together maple syrup or honey, eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Add in the oat flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  5. Add half of the chocolate chips to the batter and stir them in. Pour the batter into your loaf pan. Garnish the rest of chocolate chips on top.
  6. Bake on 425°F for 10 mins, and then reduce to 350°F and bake for another 20 to 22 mins or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
